The Board of Directors made connections with pharmacies in Switzerland that willingly collaborated to donate certain medicines that were distributed to people in need through doctors and dispensaries.
This initiative was launched in 2021 and will hopefully be a continuous one within the corporate social responsibility objectives of the board.
Specific dispensaries were contacted and the assigned doctors made a list of the essential medications that were either unavailable in the Lebanese market or were too expensive for average families to afford.
Most of the medications were for chronic disease treatment that the patients would need to use for long periods of time.
